Lighting in perfection
With a boom you can bring the radius of action for lighting, flashes and other equipment into the third dimension. Mount the boom with its tilt mechanism on a 5/8 inch spigot of a lamp tripod or any other holder with a spigot, extend it to the desired length and swing and tilt it as required. Attach the desired equipment to the front of the 5/8 inch spigot or the 1/4 inch thread. The 5/8 inch spigot is flattened on the side so that you can rotate equipment together with the rod and mount it at any angle. With the help of the adjustable bracket on the tilt head and the included 1.5 kg screw-on counterweight, you can balance the boom so that it creates no or only a slight leverage on the stand. Now you are ready for a new dimension of lighting!
Not just for light
Of course you can also attach other equipment than light to the boom, like flashes, softboxes, reflectors, umbrellas or microphones. Even Decoration can be hung here, if you wish. However, the boom is not suitable as jib or crane for camera movements. Due to the highly variable length from 70 to 183 cm and the high load capacity of 5 kg when retracted and 2 kg when the boom is extended to its maximum, it is very versatile in use. The clamp locks reliably hold the boom at the desired length. You can adjust and fix the inclination by 180°. Without a tripod the boom can also be used as a microphone boom.
