The adapter for strobe fans: The tiltable walimex pro umbrella holder is the absolute key item for any strobe and studio flash equipment. Whether as a connector between the flash device and the tripod or as a tiltable adapter, to secure another translucent/reflex umbrella – this adapter lets you construct whatever set-up you want in your studio or on location. Easy, fast and uncomplicated.
Well thought-out details: The sturdy, large, yet light adapter – weighing 402 g – has many practical features. So, for example, a two-part spigot adapter is included that has both a 1/4-inch and a 3/8-inch thread pin. Furthermore, both spigot mounts with the corresponding levers/adjusting screws can be fixed so that tripods and flashes can be mounted firmly and securely. The umbrella mount is for umbrella parts with a diameter of 11 mm (round umbrella parts) or a maximum width of 12 mm (ribbed umbrella parts). The central tilt function can be operated via a large, non-slip adjustment lever that can be pulled out and adjusted for better handling. This means you can use your equipment efficiently in any position.
This tiltable umbrella holder is compatible with all tripods, devices and accessories that have a spigot or a spigot connector.
The recommended max. load capacity when tilted (test angle of 45°) is approx. 3.5 kg – heavy flash heads with reflector and umbrella with a 2-m diameter were tested.
