With the Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 FE you can create photos that inspire. The extremely high resolution of the optical construction allows you to create images that are crisp from the centre to the very edge. This also has a very positive effect when working with the open aperture: With a shallow depth of field, the subject appears clearly exposed and the resulting soft bokeh clearly contrasts with the foreground.

Technology which leaves nothing to be desired
The features of the lens are impressive: the weather protection allows it to be used even in adverse conditions, the Ultra-Multi-Coating (UMC) and the four special lenses, two ASP (aspherical) and two HR (high refractive), prevent aberrations, ghosting, flares and other imaging errors. The focus is driven by a linear stepper motor (LSTM), which is extremely quiet at 23.05 dB and incredibly fast. The lens is extremely compact, 63.5 mm long and 65 mm in diameter. Thanks to its compact design, it weighs only 210 grams and is therefore hardly noticeable.

Versatile - the custom switch for personal configuration
With the Custom Switch, the Samyang AF 35mm F1.8 gives you the opportunity to configure the lens to your individual needs. Using a separately available Lens Station, you can assign the predefined functions to the two switch positions Mode 1 and 2 as you wish: manual focus, manual iris, auto focus and auto iris.
