The Samyang AF 24mm F2.8 FE autofocus lens has been specially developed for photographers with high demands on image quality and sharpness. It is suitable for mirrorless Sony E-mount (FE) cameras with full format and also with APS-C sensor. On full-frame cameras (e.g. Sony A9, A7 series), its focal length of 24 mm offers the most versatile possibilities for working with large perspectives. On cameras with APS-C sensor (e.g. Sony A6500, A6300, A6000, A5100, A5000) you get a focal length of approx. 36 mm due to the crop factor of 1.5. The lens is therefore ideal for close-ups, travel, portrait and street photography, food shots, landscape photography as well as outdoor and sporting events.

High-quality optics and mechanics
The 7 elements in 7 groups (including three aspherical lenses and two high-index lenses) and the multiple UMC coating (Ultra Multi Coating) are the highlights of this lens. They ensure a beautiful bokeh, a high-contrast reproduction of the image subject without reflections, minimise chromatic aberrations and enable the highest resolutions. The closest focusing distance is just 24 cm and the speed of F2.8 gives you high resolution and even images right to the corners of the frame, even with the aperture open.
Use your full-frame lens also on an APS-C camera!
With the Samyang AF 24mm F2.8 FE you get a 24 mm full-frame wide-angle lens which, when used on an APS-C camera, represents a focal length of approx. 36 mm due to the crop factor of 1.5. This focal length is very close to the popular 35 mm format and thus offers a versatile range of use on cameras with both full-frame and APS-C sensors.
